Singapore Trip Journal ~ day 1 ~

~ Day 1 ~
as i mentioned earlier, is a challenge for me to do street evax in others country. since im not kinda outspoken type of person and if u do not talk to me am not going to talk to u. if i know u that's different of course. as i said, i was grouped with WanTing during street evax in Causeway Point. i saw them sharing like eating rice so easy. i do observed the way she shared to the peoples. share a short story, draw the diagram, asking questions, share testimony. that's it!
- at the same time sharing to them, we should quickly bring out the important point. not everyone has the patient listening on what u share.
- do not share in a group of 3 or more if u're not grouping with so many.
- always observe their reaction. ask questions that is according to their reaction.
- share is as fast as possible. understandable and clear.
- share testimony so that able to touch their heart and to make them believe. true testimony!
when my turn to share, i have no idea where's the guts and courage comes from. i know what to share but still shaking. maybe lil nervous for the first time. but is a good result. both of them converted by WanTing led them to sinner prayer. hmm, i should be more confident next time on my sharing so result would turns out better.
just got to know that they actually doing street evax a5t least 3times a week during holiday. wow. so enouraging! for me, i guess i will turn out crazy then. guess i needa change in this area eh..

we attended NorthEast girls unit prayer meeting at Serangoon. when we reach, they are still practicing and much thing haven't be done yet.
during their practicing time, it reminds me that next time maybe we can have our practice as the same way. just we start our cg punctual and they are lil later. no offense.
since our youth do not have our own prayer meeting lidat so im looking forward what's going on next with the prayer meeting. but it can helps us to apply it for our prayer before cg start.
i learned how to lead a prayer meeting. one of this prayer there struck me the most while we were singing the song Pure Heart. there's a dirt in our heart that couldn't be remove and blocking us to go forward. but we do always forget to ask God to take this dirt away because we are not depending on our God. that is true. realy realy true. time to check our heart now!

these are the 2 things we did on the first day trip. minus the part hanging around in Bugis Village. hahha.

time for devotion!! albert was sharing on the Pro 28 : 23 - 24.
wow. it reflected me lotsa of things! lying is a sin. but people do still lie even they know it is a sin. this will happen in our daily live no matter who u are. why? we lie to cover/protect self. to cover the imperfects so that others can only see our perfects. beware of your tongue. truth is better than lie. do not say anything if you do not know the truth. cause it could cause death or some serious. at this point, i realized that some people around us are doing it. just they wanna to let people think they're way smarter pretending they know everythings. or is for own goods. we actually sumtimes do lie just to protect ourselves. to know our mistakes in our daily lives, we should pray more and read bible everyday. of course devotion! slowly, we can see the changes in us.
